Help and Information Department

One of GAIHST’s goals is to support people experiencing harassment in their empowerment, helping them reclaim their dignity and self confidence. This experience is often marked by isolation, humiliation, betrayal, and devaluation—both personally and professionally—which can lead to a sense of powerlessness and emotional, social, or even medical repercussions. The team provides tailored support through a range of assistance services designed to meet each person’s needs.

Active listening and moral support

Clients can reach counselors in complete confidentiality to speak freely about situations experienced at work. This listening space allows them to put words to their experience, to validate what they are going through, or simply to open up in a safe environment. The Help and Information Department thus offers an attentive presence, marked by respect and care.

Technical assistance

Since putting together a file can be challenging, our counselors can support clients throughout the process. This support can take several forms, including providing information on procedures, assisting with certain documents, such as a letter to the employer or the person implicated, and helping complete a complaint form. Please be advised that the Help and Information Department does not provide legal advice.

“Cafés-rencontres” meetings

The “cafés rencontres” are welcoming spaces for exchange, intended for people experiencing workplace harassment. They offer a safe environment to break isolation, share experiences, support one another, and learn about important issues.
